The Project

Build a flow for an interactive dash builder for marine products that allows the customer to build their own customizable marine network system online.

The Plan

I first needed to understand how this market interacted with technology, so I search out data based off the analytics from past projects to better understand what was working, and what was not working. We took the information and built a flow that customers could easily navigate. The end result shows the products that will work best for them and their needs.

In order to understand the customers pain points and solve, the teams utilize analytics and heat-maps. We then take these understandings and apply them to design iterations to help update and create better designs for the user. 

My Role

Lead UI/UX Designer

This project utilized components built from the design system. It also created new use-cases to groom or build new components base off these flows use-cases. I was the lead designer working back with the information architect, account managers and project managers. Once the project was approved in mockup form, I then worked with the content admin to help with set up and correct usage of components.
